New York International Young Musician Competition
is hosting the 2024 4th NYIYMC to discover and inspire young musicians all around the world.
Our first goal and mission are to discover artists of outstanding personality and musicianship.
We want to reward their effort and dedication to music as well as provide them an opportunity to perform their musical talent which will help their musical path.
We hope that NYIYMC will give all young musicians impressions in their hearts and help them to develop confidence and musical potential.
Rules and Regulations
* Accepting Online Application only
* Participants must upload the Video recording on YouTube.
* Solo Application Deadline : November 17, 2024
* Chamber Application Deadline : December 1st, 2024
* Solo Fee : $150 (Late fee : $180)
* Chamber Music Fee : $90/each (Late fee : $120/each)
* Eligible age : Ages 6 to Age 29
* Eligible category : Keyboard, String, Woodwind, Brass, Voice and Chamber music.
- Keyboard : Piano, Harpsichord, Organ
- Strings : Violin, Viola, Cello, Double bass, Harp, Guitar
- Woodwinds : Flute, Clarinet, Oboe, Bassoon, Saxophone
- Brass : Trumpet, French horn, Trombone, Euphonium, Tuba
- Voice : Classical, Musical, Opera, Folk (Jazz and pops are not allowed)
- Chamber Music : Duet to Octet
* Electric instruments are not allowed except an accompaniment.
* Orchestra and Choir are not allowed.
